The NSP FX brand originally came from the Lava Firewall product we used to produce some 4-5 years ago.
The Lava Firewall had got to the point where we were doing pretty much everything else on our firewall and we felt the brand was no longer applicable to the product we were actually selling.
After a name change and product definition cycle the NSP FX Firewall was born. This product became the backbone of the NSP Linux platform and has grown over the last 3-4 years to a competitive and powerful platform to secure your business.
The FX brand is part of an evolution from the FX Firewall to a full set of "fully extensible" services that provide an entire network infrastructure.
The most popular NSP FX product is by far the NSP FX Firewall but with the recent release of the NSP FX Network Management Server it is starting to lose its lead.
And keep an eye out for the new Linux Office release that will allow you to toally outsource your entire operation using Linux.
