NSP typically works hand-in-hand with clients during the consultation and design process to ensure the project objectives are achieved within the planned time frame.
This process covers the following stages:
-
Exploration Phase
During the exploration phase, our programmers work with a client to develop story cards that accurately describe the business process and the system requirements for first release.
Each story card describes a feature to be added into the individualised programme. At the same time, our project team determine the best tools, technology and practices to be used within the project. -
Planning Phase
The planning phase sets the priority order for the stories (system requirements) and an agreement is obtained on the content of the interfaces. Initial time estimates are provided for each interface.
-
Iterations to release phase
The iteration to release phase assists us define and refine a client’s system before the first release. This ensures the client is fully involved, providing sign off at each stage of the process and reducing possible rework within the agreed time frame. -
Production Phase
The production phase provides time for full system and performance testing prior to the release. -
Maintenance phase
After the first release has been placed into production for the client, the development team maintains the production and performance while also producing new iterations. In order to manage this, NSP maintains a close liaison with the client during this process. The maintenance phase may also require introducing new people into project (ie Help Desk) to assist with final fine tuning.
